Words cannot fully describe the gratitude I have for all who have expressed their sympathy through cards, calls, emails, texts and encouraging words in Vita’s passing. The twelve years Vita and I served on the CVBA Associational Team (2000-2012) were very special to her.

She felt a part of her calling, at an early age, to serve as a Missionary was partially fulfilled serving alongside me as your Associate/Director of Missions. The Heart of Texas Baptist Camp & Conference Center in Brownwood, TX was the first church camp Vita attended as a preteen. Rev. Bill Butts was her pastor at the Oakview Baptist Church in Ft. Worth at the time. The last 18 years she accompanied me to multiple Executive Board Committee Meetings, planning meetings and programs at the camp. The camp had a special place in her heart. Through the years, countless children and youth have found Christ and His direction for their lives at HOTBC&CC.

A memorial gift, in her honor, to the camp can be used to reach many more for Christ. If you feel led to do so, as an individual or church family, Vita would be pleased to know an investment in the camp was made in her memory.

Memorial gifts may be mailed to:
